The CUET UG 2026 Registration Last Date is now extended till 4th February 2026. The National Testing Agency is currently accepting online applications for the CUET UG 2026 via its official website. All the eligible candidates who are planning to appear in the exam must submit their forms before the CUET Registration Last Date. Those who have not yet submitted their CUET application form should do so as early as possible, as admit cards are issued only to registered students.
CUET UG 2026 Registration Underway
The process for the CUET UG 2026 Registration is completely held in online mode. The online registration process commenced on 03 January 2026. Candidates who wish to take the Common University Entrance Test can apply for the same on the NTA CUET official website at cuet.nta.nic.in.
As per the recent press release it is mentioned that ” In continuation to the Public Notice dated 03 January 2026 regarding submission of online application form for CUET (UG) 2026 and in response to the multiple requests received from candidates to extend the last date for submission of online application form, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for CUET (UG) -2026, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam.”
CUET 2026 Registration Dates
The National Testing Agency will be conducting the CUET UG 2026 between 11 and 31 May 2026 in computer-based test mode at different centres located in various cities throughout the country, and
15 cities outside India. Upon closure of the CUET UG 2026 Registration window, the NTA will start the online form correction process, in which students will be able to make corrections in certain fields.

Who is eligible for CUET 2026 for UG?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) determines the eligibility requirements for students who seek to take the CUET UG 2026 exam. Candidates must meet these fundamental requirements before registering and taking the test. However, passing the CUET eligibility criteria does not ensure admission because each university may have its own course-specific requirements. The following table summarises the general eligibility requirements for CUET UG 2026:
- Educational requirements: Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board, with at least 45% marks.
- Age: There is no age limit.
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian, but NRI and OCI candidates are also eligible.
How do I register for CUET UG 2026?
To apply for the CUET exam, first register by providing basic information such as your name, address, and contact information. This produces login information. After registering with their registration information, candidates can complete the CUET 2026 application form with personal and academic information, program and exam city preferences, and submit documents. - Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency at cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Now, create login details by clicking ‘New Registration’.
- Check the guidelines to fill out the online CUET application form.
- On the following registration form, enter personal and address details in the specified fields.
- The system-generated application number will be sent to your registered email and phone number. Create a password for future logins.
- Fill out the CUET application form 2026 and upload all the prescribed document in the proper format.
- Enter the OTP issued to your registered email ID and submit the form.
- Now pay the CUET exam form fee as per the number of subjects selected via the available payment gateways.
CUET 2026 Application Fee
To submit the CUET Application form successfully, you must submit the form fee by the last date, i.e., January 30, 2026. According to the information brochure, the CUET form fee for the three subjects for gneral category is ₹1000, whereas 900 for the OBC-NCL / EWS students.

CUET Correction Window 2026
The CUET UG correction window 2026 will open on February 2. Candidates have till February 4th to update the information in their application form. Only registered candidates will be allowed to edit the application form once it has been submitted. During the CUET 2026 correction window, registered candidates can modify the following fields:
