Central Board of Secondary Education has issued guidelines for submission of List of candidates (LOC) for class 10th phase 2 board exam 2026. This step is a part of CBSE’s newly introduced two board exam system which was officially announced on 25 June 2025. As per the new policy Class 10th students will get a second opportunity to improve their performance by reappearing in up to three subjects in the Phase 2 exams scheduled for May 2026.

However, only those students who have already appeared in the main board exam are eligible for this second phase exam. CBSE Board has taken this initiative to ease exam pressure among students and give them a fair chance to improve their marks without repeating an entire academic year.
