How to challenge the Provisional Answer key?

1. Log in to the AILET 2026 account available on the NLU Delhi portal
2. Click the "View Objections" option.
3. Click the Submit Objection button.
   • Choose the type of objection:
     a. About the question, OR
     b. About the answer key.
4. Enter the objection details and click on the Submit Objection.
5. After submitting all objections, click on Make Payment to pay the fee of INR 500 per objection.

How to Calculate Score Using AILET 2026 Answer Key?

While calculating the probable score for the ALET 2026 Answer key, you must use the marking scheme specified by NLU Delhi. Check the important facts of the AILET marking scheme provided below.

• Candidates will be given one mark for each right answer.
• There will be negative markings of 1/4 marks.
• Each wrong response will result in a one-fourth mark deduction.
• Candidates will not be graded for unanswered questions.
• Candidates who mark two answers to a question will receive a one-fourth mark penalty for that question.

Let's understand this with an example,

After reviewing the official answer key, you will find that you marked 120 questions correctly out of 150 questions, 20 questions are incorrect, and 10 questions are unattended.

• Marks for correct answers = 120 x 1 = 120
• Negative marks = 20 x 1/4 = 5
• Unattempt questions = 10, no marks are deducted/added for these.
• Estimated total = 120 - 5 = 115
