Candidates can view the All India Law Entrance Test counselling schedule 2026 online at the official website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
Last date for AILET Registration 2026
Successful candidates can complete their AILET registration for 2026 until December 27th, which is also the last date to pay the registration fees.
AILET 2026 Invite List
Candidates who have passed the law entrance exam (AILET) are qualified to attend AILET counselling. They should be aware that NLU Delhi will compile an AILET 2026 invite list for candidates who are eligible to participate in counselling.
AILET 2026 Seat Allotment
The initial AILET seat allotment will be announced based on AILET counselling registration. Those whose names will be mentioned in the provisional AILET allotment letter must confirm it by paying the admission fee.
AILET Counselling 2026 Fees
The AILET 2026 counselling registration fee is required to begin the admission process and is deducted from the overall course fee if a seat is awarded. To secure a place, pay the provisional admission fee after being selected. Payments are only accepted online via the AILET site.

AILET Counselling Process 2026

Step 1: Check the AILET Invite List for your roll number
You will be contacted for online counselling registration based on your AILET score, with about three times the number of candidates matching the available seats in each category.
It is recommended that you log in to your AILET account to see if you have received an invitation for online counselling registration. In addition, eligible applicants will get an email or SMS at their registered email address or phone number encouraging them to participate in the AILET 2026 online counselling registration procedure.
Step 2 - AILET 2026 Counselling Starting Here
To participate in the counselling procedure, you must pay the counselling fees and provide original and copies of your documents for verification.

Step 3: Release of the First Provisional Allotment List 2026
Following the completion of AILET 2026 Counselling, NLU Delhi will announce the preliminary allotment and waiting lists. The tentative list contains the names, roll numbers, and grades of shortlisted students in several categories.
If there are any remaining openings after the first round of admission, the institution will announce a new provisional allotment list for the second and future rounds.
Step 4: Pay the Course Fee
If you are accepted, you must pay the remaining course fee of approximately Rs 82,500, which is Rs 75,000 for the LLB course. If you do not finish the admissions process by the deadline, you will be disqualified, and your counselling will not be returned.
