Common University Entrance Test is conducted by NTA to offer admission in undergraduate courses in tier 1 and tier 2 institutes across India. Steps to Calculate Score:
- Count the number of correct answers
- Multiply correct answers by 5
- Count incorrect answers
- Multiply incorrect answers by 1
- Subtract negative marks from total positive marks
- The result is your final CUET score
Example:
- Correct Answers: 40 → 40 × 5 = 200
- Incorrect Answers: 10 → 10 × 1 = 10
- Final Score = 200 – 10 = 190
CUET UG 2026 Cut Off
The CUET cut off is the minimum score required to secure a seat in top UG colleges. However clearing the CUET UG cut off only does not guarantee admission as factors such as course preference, number of seats available and reservation criteria.
