CLAT Colleges 2026: The Consortium of National Law Universities conducts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) annually for admission to NLUs and affiliated colleges in India. Currently, the list of CLAT 2026 Participating Colleges includes a total of 24 out of 26 National Law Universities and various affiliated private universities. The CLAT UG 2026 Examination was conducted on December 7, 2026. If you appear in the exam and intend to appear in the upcoming session, then you must know the latest CLAT 2026 Colleges List, their seat intake, and low-score accepting colleges described on this page.
CLAT 2026 Participating Colleges
The CLAT Exam is one of the biggest law entrance tests in India, in which thousands of aspiring students participate. CLAT 2026 scores are considered for admission into 24 National Law Universities (NLUs), CLAT-affiliated colleges and several private law colleges. Having the knowledge of the CLAT Colleges and their expected cut-off is very crucial for aspiring future lawyers to make a plan of preference list before the start of counselling. There are three types of CLAT Colleges present, such as
- National Law Universities (NLUs)
- CLAT Affiliated Law Universities
- Private Law Colleges
Due to the limited seats in the CLAT, participating colleges make the competition more intense and challenging day by day. A huge number of students must not compete for a good score, but for securing a seat at such prominent law schools which have academic excellence: experienced faculty, well-established industry connections and excellent placement records.
