BITSAT Eligibility Criteria

Students who want to take admission in the BITS Pilani institute must fulfill the required eligibility criteria for admission.

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen, NRI, or OCI, and also be eligible for the BITSAT exam.
  • Students must have passed the Class 12th exam from a recognized university.
  • There is no age limit.
  • Students must have studied physics, chemistry, maths, and English in their senior secondary classes.
  • Students must get 75% in PCM and individually 60% in class 12.
  • Both theory and practical marks are considered while calculating the percentage.

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2026

The BTSAT exam pattern follows a unique and dynamic exam pattern. It is designed to test the student’s speed, accuracy, and conceptual understanding. BITS Pilani conducts the exam in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. This exam consists of 130 questions for 390 marks. The total time duration of the exam is 3 hours. There are 10 optional questions asked in the exam from the biology and math portions. Steps to Apply for the BITSAT Application Form

Step 1: Go to the official website of BITS Pilani, bitsadmission.com

Step 2: Register yourself with your name, DOB, email ID, and mobile number.

Step 3: Log in using your login credentials and fill in the personal, academic, and communication details.

Step 4: Choose the three preferred test centers.

Step 5: Upload the scanned photograph (50 kb-100 kb) and signature (10 kb-100 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee.

Step 7: Carefully review the application form and click on “final submit.”
