MHT CET Notification 2026 (OUT) – Know Session 1 and 2 Complete Schedule

The MHT CET Notification 2026 will be released in December 2025, but a new notification related to BHMCT and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM exams has been released. From now on, a single exam will be conducted for these 5 courses. The MHTCET Exam dates 2026 for Session 1 and Session 2 are announced. According to the official notification, the MHT CET 2026 for the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) group will be held from April 11 to 19, 2026. The MHT CET 2026 exam is set for applicants in the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) groups from April 21 to 26, 2026.

The Maharashtra CET Cell organises the MHT CET for admission to B.Tech. and B.Pharm programs. The MHTCET exam is administered online using a computer-based test. Latest Update on MH BHMCT and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM Exam Notification –

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra State will conduct a single Common Entrance Test (CET) for BHMCT and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM courses, titled MAH-B. HMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET 2026, for the Academic Year 2026-27. This decision was made since the above courses have similar eligibility criteria, making a consolidated test appropriate and useful for all students.

This single CET will replace the two previous CETs for B.HMCT and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM courses. MAH-B. HMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET 2026 will last 120 minutes. The syllabus for the aforementioned CET will be published on the official website for the benefit of all parties. MHTCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can view the eligibility requirements of the exam as outlined in the previous year’s MHTCET Notification. Candidates applying for the MHT CET exam must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements before completing the application form.

1. Candidates must be Indian citizens.
2. Candidates must score at least 45% in class 12. Candidates from the backward class, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category should acquire at least 40% marks in class 12.
3. Candidates must have passed or be appearing for class 12 in 2026.
4. There is no age limit for applying to MHT CET 2026.
5. In class 12, the candidate should have Physics and Mathematics as required courses, as well as one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational topic, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies.

MHTCET 2026 Registration

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra will begin MHT CET 2026 registration in December online at cetcell.mahacet.org. The deadline for the MHT CET Application form without a late charge is expected to be in the second week of February 2026. With late fees, the MHT CET application form 2026 will be available until February last week, 2026.

The MHT CET application form rectification facility will be open in March 2026. Candidates can update their name, photo, signature, category, and group during the rectification period.

MHT CET Application Fees

• For General category candidates from Maharashtra, Outside Maharashtra, and J&K Migrant candidates: INR 800.
• Candidates from Backwards Classes (SC/ST/OBC/SBC) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in Maharashtra State: INR 600.

MHTCET 2026 Exam Syllabus & Pattern

MHT CET’s syllabus for BTech exams covers class 11 and 12 topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while BPharma papers include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The MHT CET question paper will be weighted at 20% for class 11 themes and 80% for class 12 topics.

PCM Group Paper Pattern

• There will be 150 questions, 50 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• In each subject, 10 questions will be from the class 11 chapters, while the remaining 40 will be from class 12 topics.

PCB Group Paper Pattern

• The PCB group question paper will consist of 200 questions, with 100 from Biology and 50 from Physics and Chemistry.
• In Biology, 20 questions will come from class 11 topics, with the remaining 80 from class 12 topics.
• In Physics and Chemistry, there will be 10 questions from class 11 and 40 from class 12.

MHTCET 2026 Result

The Maharashtra CET cell will announce the MHT CET 2026 results in June on the official website. To check the MHT CET results, candidates must log in using their application number and password.
