PCM GroupPCB Group
All three subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, are given equal weight, with balanced preparation in each. The Mathematics part will consist of 50 questions, each worth two marks. Around 80% of the questions will be from the class 12 syllabus, and they will cover all major topics. The MHT CET Biology part will include 100 questions and will hold the highest weightage in the exam. Physics and Chemistry will contribute 50 questions each, given sufficient preparation.

MHT CET Syllabus

The MHT CET 2026 Exam will distribute marks based on topics such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB). The MHT CET syllabus is primarily based on the Maharashtra Board Science books for grades 11 and 12, with 20% from the former and 80% from the latter. Preparing for the Std. 12 Board exam is crucial for MHT CET 2026 as it heavily relies on the syllabus. The exam is separated into two groups:

  • PCM: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • PCB: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
