AILET Exam
The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is an annual exam administered by the National Law University of Delhi (NLU Delhi). It is an entrance exam for NLU Delhi’s undergraduate and postgraduate legal programs, which include BA, LLB, LLM, and PhD.
SLAT Exam
SLAT, commonly known as the Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SLAT), is a common entrance exam for admission to four Symbiosis law schools (SLS), namely SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur. SLAT 2026 offers admission to the following courses: B.A. LL.B (Hons.), B.B.A, LL.B (Hons.) and B.Com., LL.B (Hons.).
AIBE Exam
The full name for AIBE is All India Bar Examination (AIBE). The Bar Council of India (BCI) administers the AIBE, a national-level exam in offline mode. The AIBE is a certification exam for earning the Certificate of Practice (COP). The COP is required for practising law in India. It is open to law graduates who wish to practise law in the country. Both 3- and 5-year LLB graduates are qualified to take the AIBE 20 exam. Candidates who do not pass the exam will not be awarded the Certificate of Practice (COP).
CUET Exam for Law Courses
Candidates who complete CUET LLB can receive admission to participating universities’ three-year LLB programs. There will be no centralised counselling for the CUET LLB. Admissions to the CUET LLB 2026 will be undertaken separately at the institute level by each participating university.

MHCET Law Exam
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law is held for admission to law courses at participating law colleges in Maharashtra. The MH CET Law exam is two hours long and takes place online. Law students who take the entrance exam are shortlisted for admission to 10,860 seats (excluding management intake) in the 5-year LLB program and approximately 16,420 seats in the 3-year LLB courses.
AP LAWCET Exam
The Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (APLAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam administered by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission to law courses offered by Andhra Pradesh universities and affiliated colleges. It is administered using a computer-based test in English and Telugu for both five-year and three-year LLB courses.
TS LAWCET Exam
The Telangana State Common Law Entrance Test (TSLAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam administered by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission to law studies at the University College of Law, Osmania University, and other associated colleges. It is administered as a computer-based test in Telugu, English, or Urdu for both the 5-year and 3-year LLB courses.
KLEE Exam
The Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is an entrance exam used for admission to government law colleges and government merit seats in private self-financing law colleges. KLEE offers three-year LLB, five-year LLB, and LLM programs. Candidates who pass the exam are eligible to participate in the KLEE centralised allotment process (CAP), which allocates places in law colleges.

AMU LLB Exam
Aligarh Muslim University begins registration for the AMU BA LLB test. The exam authority makes the AMU BA LLB application form 2026 link available on the website amucontrollerexams.com. Applicants who have passed or are taking the 10+2 test are eligible to apply for the AMU Entrance test 2026.
PU LLB Exam
Panjab University administers the PU LLB entrance exam for admission to its Department of Law’s three-year LLB program. The exam will be administered in three languages: English, Hindi, and Punjabi, via pen and paper. The law entrance exam offers up to 480 LLB seats.
KIITEE Law Exam
The KIITEE Law Exam, also known as the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination, is required for admission to KIIT University’s Law courses. This entrance test is conducted by KIIT institution, a deemed institution, for admission to the B.A.LLB (Hons.), BBA. LLB (Hons.), and B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) programs are offered by the School of Law.
ULSAT Exam
The ULSAT stands for the University of Petroleum and Energy Law School Admission Test. The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies is administering this test for admission to its three-year LLB, five-year LLB (BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB), LLB, and LLM programs. The admission exam is administered in CBT format. The exam pattern for LLM admission differs from that for other Law courses. Candidates who pass the ULSAT must then participate in group discussions and interviews before being admitted.
