The National Testing Agency will conduct CUET UG 2026 from 11 May 2026 to 31 May 2026 in Computer Based Test (Online). This centralized entrance exam is the gateway to undergraduate admissions in over 250 central, state, deemed and private universities across India. CUET UG 2026 Exam Centres

NTA has designated approximately 321 cities as CUET UG 2026 exam centres: 306 cities spread across every state and union territory in India, and 15 international cities including Bangkok, Colombo, Cape Town, Brasilia, and Bagmati (Nepal). The centres span Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities ensuring that students from every corner of the country have access to a nearby test venue.

Steps to Select CUET Exam City

Choosing your exam city is one of the most important steps during the CUET UG 2026 application process. Since NTA does not allow candidates to change their city preference after submission, it is crucial to think carefully before locking in your choices.

  • Visit the official CUET website, cuet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on “Register / Login” and complete your basic registration with your name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number
  • Log in using your Application Number and password to access the application form
  • Fill in your personal, academic, and subject details in the application form
  • Navigate to the “Exam Centre Preference” section within the form
  • Search and select up to three preferred cities from the dropdown list of available CUET exam cities
  • Review your city choices carefully before submitting changes are not allowed later
  • Pay the application fee and submit the form. Save a copy of the confirmation page
  • Your allotted exam centre will be mentioned on the City Intimation Slip, released approximately 2–3 weeks before the exam
