SLAT Exam Pattern 2026

The SLAT exam 2026 contains multiple-choice questions, and the exam is noted for its extreme time limitations, making time management an important skill for candidates. SLAT 2026 Admission Process

To get into SLAT 2026, follow the steps below:

  1.  Apply online at set-test.org by the deadline.
  2.  When your application is accepted, you will be sent an admission card to take the SLAT exam.
  3.  The results and scorecards are published on the official site.  You can log in to see whether you qualify.
  4.  After qualifying for the exam, you will be chosen for the WAT-PI rounds based on your SLAT score.
  5.  If you pass all three levels (SLAT, PI, and WAT), you can enroll in one of the Symbiosis Law Schools.

SLAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

To study at Symbiosis International University, you must meet the prescribed SLAT eligibility criteria. The following are the detailed criteria for applying to SLAT:

Age Limit - There is no age limit for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test.

Educational Qualification - You must have completed 12th grade or an equivalent exam at a recognized university or board.

Qualifying Marks - The minimum mark required to apply for the SLAT 2026 is 45%. The SC and ST categories require a minimum of 40%.

Eligibility for NRIs - NRIs (Non-Resident Indians) can apply for the SLAT 2026 if they have taken the 10th or 12th (similar to the Indian 10th or 12th) examination outside of India. Those who have taken their 10th-grade test outside of India and their 12th-grade exam in India are required to take the SLAT as appropriate.

SLAT 2026 registration starts in mid-August 2025, and SLAT 2026 registration closes in November 2025. The SLAT application process consists of online registration, inputting personal and educational information, providing a communication address, and selecting a program and college.

SLAT exam fees

The SLAT fee to be paid upon registration contains two parts: the registration fee and the program fee.

  • Registration fee: ₹2,250.
  • The program registration cost for each constituent college is ₹1,000.
