The NEET Application Form 2026 process is a completely online process. The minimum age to apply for the exam is 17 years. The NEET UG exam is conducted in pen and paper mode (OMR-based) on a single day once a year. NEET 2026 Application Form Filling Process (Detailed)

The NEET 2026 application form filling process is broken into several components. The deadline for submitting the NEET application form will be in April 2026. Candidates must complete and submit the application form by the stipulated deadline. The NEET application form PFF will be made available only at exams.nta.ac.in. Here is a step-by-step instruction for filling out the application form.

1. How to do NEET Registration 2026?

  • Candidates should go to the NEET official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
  • Next, they must click on the NEET UG 2026 Registration Link.
  • Applicants should then select "New Registration". They must enter the following information:
    1. the candidate's name,
    2. father's and mother's names,
    3. date of birth,
    4. gender, category,
    5. nationality,
    6. PwD options,
    7. email address, and
    8. password.
  • Candidates must also supply their identity type and number during this phase.
    1. PAN Card, Passport,
    2. Digilocker ID,
    3. Aadhar Card, and
    4. Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID) are a valid form of identification.
  • Then they must input the security pin and click 'Confirm'.

2. Fill the NEET 2026 Application Form

After registration, applicants should click on 'Click Here to Login' and enter their NEET application number and password. They can also enter their Digilocker ID and Academic Bank of Credits account number (ABC ID).

Note: After logging in, applicants may use the NEET application form. The information provided during the registration process will be immediately entered into the application form.

  • Enter personal information: Now fill in the personal details such as the candidate's name, father's and mother's names, category, gender, date of birth, nationality, persons with disabilities, minority category, suffering from Diabetes Type I, identity number, and type. Enter the birthplace, district, and state.
  • Select Medium of NEET Question Paper: The next step for candidates is to choose their preferred question paper medium. They can take the test in any of the following languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, or Urdu.
  • Neet Exam Centre Selection: Applicants must next select two examination centres from the alternatives listed on the application form.
  • Academic Details: Then, they must fill out the academic information separately for Classes 10, 11, and 12.
    1. Information related to Class 10: Education Board Name of School or College, Address of School/College, Percentage of Marks Obtained in Class 10 Board, Roll Number, Year of Passing
    2. Information related to Class 11: Name of School/CollegeYear of Passing, Location, District where the school or college is located, State where the school or college is located.
    3. Information related to Class 12 (or equivalent board): Name of School/College, Address of School/College, Place of Study, Year of Passing, District/State where School/College is Located, Qualifying Exam Code, Year of Passing/Appearing, Percentage of Marks Obtained, Roll No.
  • Permanent Address: Next, they must give their permanent address as well as their correspondence address, which is their current address. If the addresses are the same, they must click the box that says the same as the permanent address.
  • Information about guardians: NEET Applicants must then provide information about their parents or legal guardians, such as their work, educational background, and annual income.
  • Answer a few questions: Next, they must select Yes/No to the following questions:
    1. Do you intend to dress inappropriately for the exam?
    2. If you belong to the PwBD category? (If the response is yes, they need to explain the percentage of handicap and whether they need a scribe.)
    3. Are you a diabetic?
    4. Do you have an identical sibling who plans to take NEET 2026?
    5. In the case of female candidates, are you the only child of your parents?
    6. Have you previously sat for NEET?
  • Next, applicants need to select their manner of preparation from the following options: self-study, coaching, correspondence, and others.
  • Finally, users must input the Security Pin shown and select 'Review Before Submitting'.
  • After clicking 'Confirm', candidates must select the "Yes, Please Do" option that appears.

3. Upload Documents for NEET Application 2026

Applicants should then click on 'Upload Documents'. Select the documents to be uploaded, examine the photos to confirm they are clear, and then click 'Next'. The requirements are listed below.

The applicants are then taken to the fee payment site. They must pay the NEET application fee either through Syndicate/SBI/ICICI/HDFC/Paytm Payment Gateway via UPI/NetBanking/Debit Card/Credit Card. The application fee is calculated as follows:
