CUET Application Form 2026: UG Registration Date & Steps-by-Step Application Process

The National Testing Agency will release the CUET Application form 2026 for undergraduate admission in the first week of March 2026. Most probably, the CUET Registration Start date is March 1st,2026, tentatively. The CUET 2026 Registration cum application form will be available only in online mode.

The National Testing is likely to conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2026) in May-June 2026. Before that, the successful submission of the CUET application form is a crucial phase to become eligible for the exam. The CUET 2026 Application process includes various stages such as registration, filling out of CUET form, document upload and payment. How to fill CUET Application form online?

The Submission of the CUET 2026 Application Form should be made through the “Online” mode only. through the NTA website: https://cuet.nta.nic.in. The Application Form in any other mode shall not be accepted. Below is the step-by-step process for the CUET Application discussed below.

Step 1: CUET 2026 Registration Form Submission

Students first register themselves at the NTA CUET Official website for the Online Application Form.

They are required to supply the required details while filling the Online Registration form and are also required to create a PASSWORD, choose a security Question and enter the answer.

After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated, and keep a note of the same for completeing the remaining steps of the Application Form.

Please Note: For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to log in directly with the respective system-generated Application Number and created Password.

Step 2: Filling out CUET UG 2026 Application Form

The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form, including filling up personal details, educational qualification, university/ programme selection, test paper details, choosing the Examination Cities, and uploading the images and documents (if any).

Process of Document Upload

In this stage, you are required to upload the scanned images of the candidate’s Photograph, signature and PwD/PwBD certificate

1. Photograph

1. The candidate will have to upload his/her recent photograph and should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
2. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly visible).
3. The photograph should be named as ‘ _Photo'
4. The format of the photograph should be in JPG/JPEG format.

2. Signature:

1. The candidate is required to upload his/her scanned copy of their signature.
2. The scanned signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
3. Signature file should be named as <'first two characters of candidate name'> _Signature'
4. The size of the PDF should be between 10 kb to 50 kb.

3. PwD/PwBD Certificate:

1. The candidate has to upload the scanned copy of PwD/PwBD/ UDID certificate (if applicable)
2. The scanned copy of PwD/PwBD/UDID certificate should be named as '< first two characters of candidate name>_PwDCertificate’,
3. The size of the PDF should be between 50 kb to 300 kb.

Step 3: CUET 2026 Form Fee Payment

After completing Steps 1 and 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite
examination fee. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI. Below we have shared the category-wise and subject-wise CUET form fee for 2026.

Things to keep in mind while making a payment:

• The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.
• In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the fee, the candidate may have to approach the concerned
  Bank/Payment Gateway to ensure the successful payment or to obtain the refund of duplicate/multiple payments.

Step 4: Download of CUET Exam form and the Confirmation Page

After all 3 Steps are successful, the submission of the Application of a candidate could be considered as successful, and his/her candidature would be confirmed only on the successful transaction/receipt of the
prescribed application fee from him/her.

After the successful remittance of the fee, you need to download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the CUET UG Application Form for future reference.
