Students who are going to give CUET UG 2026 must understand the dress code as per the guideline, though there is no specific dress code to follow but no heavy jewlerys, metallic items and other sharp things on clothes are not allowed at the CUET UG 2026 Exam hall

The CUET UG 2026 Exam plays the crucial role to get admission in top colleges of India. While preparation for this exam is also important. One of the most essential part of this exam is what to wear or how to dress yourself. Though there is no restriction in wearing any kind of clothes but metallic things and dress material are not allowed in CUET UG exam hall, However it is suggested to wear light and comfortable clothes during examination which will not consume more time and energy for student.

CUET UG 2026 Dress Code Guidelines for Exam Day

Following the suggested dress code is mandatory for all candidates appearing in the exam. The purpose of these rules is to maintain fairness and prevent any kind of cheating.

Candidates should wear simple, light, and comfortable clothe. Half-sleeves shirts, t-shirts, kurtas, or tops are suggested. Avoid clothes with heavy design, large buttons, or metallic items. For bottoms, students can wear jeans, trouser, or salwar which are comfortable for long sitting hours.

Footwear should be minimal, such as slipper or sandals. Shoes with thick soles or boots should be avoid. Candidates are also advised not to wear multiple layers like jacket, hoodies, or sweaters unless they are require.

Dress Code for Male and Female Candidates in CUET UG 2026

For Male Candidates

Male should not wear cap, hat, or any head-wears. It should be simple and free from no require accessory. Avoid jacket, hoodie or any layer attire. Keep your outfit basic and simple which will result into fast security checking at CUET UG Exam hall.

For Female Candidates

For female candidate should avoid heavy jewlery like earrings, rings, bracelets or bangles and neck pieces in CUET UG Exam Hall. Hair accessories with metal part should also be avoid, Female candidates should avoid wearing heavy jewelry such as earrings, necklaces, or bangles. Simple attire like a kurti with leggings or a plain top with jeans is ideal. Hair accessories with metal parts should also be avoided to prevent inconvenience during checking.

Items Allowed in CUET UG 2026 Exam Centre

Candidates must carry only essential items inside the CUET UG 2026 examination hall. Carrying extra items may lead to restrictions or delays.
