What is CUET Exam?

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2026) is a national-level entrance exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate courses in central, state, and participating universities in India. CUET UG aspires to make the admissions process more transparent and less dependent on Class 12 board exam marks. The exam is scheduled to be taken online (CBT) from May to June 2026 and will consist of three major sections: Languages, Domain-Specific Subjects, and a General Test. Students may select up to five subjects based on their selected course and university requirements. The CUET syllabus will be based on the Class 12 NCERT curriculum, and the exam will consist of multiple-choice questions with negative marking for wrong answers.
