CUET 2026 Dress Code for Male and Female Candidates

Candidates are going to appear in the CUET 2026 exam; they must follow the important guidelines regarding the dress code.

• Wear Light and a half-sleeved T-shirt or shirt.
• Wear simple trousers or pants.
• Choose simple footwear, like slippers or sandals.

Not Allowed types of Dress at Exam Center

• Try to avoid wearing a hoodie and a jacket
• Belts and any metallic items are not allowed at the exam center.
• Avoid wearing a full-sleeved shirt.

• Try to avoid wearing headgear and scarves.
• Avoid using rubber bands or clips in your hair.
• Avoid wearing any metallic items or jewelry at the exam center.

• Jewelry and metallic items are fully restricted at the exam centers.

CUET 2026: Prohibited Items at Exam Center

The NTA releases the instructions on the official website for allowed items and prohibited items at the exam center. This ensures a fair and transparent exam. Prohibited items should not be carried into the exam center. 

• Any electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
• Wallets, handbagsand purses are also prohibited.

• Any stationary items are also not allowed in the exam hall.
