The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative date sheet for the class 10 & 12 students. The CBSE Date Sheet 2026 helps the students plan their preparation in an organised way. The exam will start on 17th February 2025 for both classes.
The official CBSE date sheet for 2026 PDF has been released at cbse.gov.in. Class 10 and Class 12 exams begin on February 17, 2026. Approximately 45 lakh students from India appeared in the board exam. The date sheet will always help the students with proper planning and consistent practice. CBSE Date Sheet 2026
The CBSE will conduct the board exam for classes 10 & 12 for the academic session 2025-26. You should check the official website regularly for the latest updates. Treat the tentative timetable as your working plan, which will provide a solid foundation for your revision.
CBSE released the timetable very early in this session, giving proper time to the students for effective preparation with smart strategies. The first exam of class 10th is mathematics, and for class 12, the first exam is biotechnology. The last exam of class 10th is the language subject on 9th March 2026. And the last exam of the 12th class is Sanskrit on 9th April 2026. After the exam, the result process will start 10 days after completion of the exam, and the result will be declared in May/June 2026.

CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2026

CBSE Board Exam 2026 Timing
The CBSE conducts the class 10 & 12 board examinations every year in February-March. You must follow the exam day schedule to avoid any inconvenience. CBSE conducts most theory papers for 3 hours (10:30 AM – 01:30 PM) and some subjects, like painting, music, Retail and vocational papers, for 2 hours (10:30 AM – 12:30 PM). There are 15 extra minutes provided during the exam for reading the question paper.
