IIM Indore Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

To apply for the IPM Indore program, you must meet the following IPMAT exam eligibility conditions.

Age Limits for IPM IPMAT Indore:

• General Category: Must have been born on or after August 1, 2006.
• SC/ST/PWD Category: Must be born on or after August 1, 2001.
• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination in 2024, 2025, or 2026.

Qualifying Exam for IPM at IIM Indore:

• Standard X/SSC or equivalent: Passed Standard X/SSC.
• There are no minimum percentage requirements in grades X and XII.

Can Appearing Students take the IPM IPMAT Indore Exam?

Final-year students (who will graduate by July 31st, 2026) can apply provisionally. Final mark sheets from the school are required for registration.

Step-by-Step Process for IPM From IIM Indore

Candidates will be chosen based on their overall performance on the Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Any applicant who does not appear in either the AT, the PI or both will not be considered for selection. The IPMAT Indore selection procedure goes as follows:

Stage 1: The candidates matching a minimum eligibility criteria should submit their application online.

Stage 2: Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be invited for the Aptitude Test (AT).

Stage 3: At this stage, only candidates with positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three Aptitude Test sections are considered eligible for the Personal Interview stage. The Admissions Committee will decide the minimum cutoff mark in each section based on the categories of applicants.

A minimum number of candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interviews (PI) from the eligible group for each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, and PwD), using the merit list generated based on Aptitude Test Score (ATS).
